what are the most annoying things about your clock radio or bedside alarm clock?

For me, it's the fixed volume setting. I'd like a smooth fade-in to a given level. Also, the buttons are all the same shape, not allowing me to easily operate the device in darkness (a light level that happens a lot in bedrooms)
The annoying way to set the time and alarm time. Slow reacting + & - buttons to adjust the time. Takes ages. I wish I had a jog or something like the iPod to adjust it more quickly.
Not all alarm clocks support recurring alarms or recurring alarms on work days only. Even multiple alarms are poorly supported, e.g. if two people use the same clock or sleepyheads (like myself) that really really have trouble getting up in the morning.
